本酶具有以下活性：
1. 5′-OH末端寡核苷酸的磷酸化及5′-P末端寡核苷酸的去磷酸化。
5′-OH + ATP→5′-P + ADP
2. 磷酸交换反应
5′-P + ATP + ADP←→5′-P + ADP + ATP

■ 活性定义

以Micrococcal Nuclease处理的小牛胸腺DNA为底物，在37℃，pH7.6的条件下，30分钟内使1 nmol的[γ-³²P]ATP掺入酸不溶性沉淀物所需要的酶量定义为1个活性单位 (unit)。

■ 用途

1. DNA及RNA 5′末端的标记。
2. 合成DNA接头 (Linker) 的5′末端磷酸化。

■ 特性

1. 分子量：约140,000。
2. 亚基：四个亚基，分子量均为33,000，活性形式为四聚体。
3. 辅因子：反应需要Mg²⁺和SH试剂如DTT的参与。
4. 抑制剂：7 mM的磷酸、焦磷酸盐或磷酸钠能够抑制酶50%的活性，7 mM的硫酸铵抑制酶75%的活性。

蛋白酪氨酸激酶 (Protein Tyrosine Kinase：PTK) 是一组能催化酪氨酸残基磷酸化的酶蛋白，参与许多信号转导途径，并在控制细胞分化、增殖和癌细胞扩散中起重要作用。
本制品是在体外 (in vitro) 对蛋白酪氨酸激酶 (Protein Tyrosine Kinase：PTK ) 活性进行定量的非放射性ELISA 型试剂盒。制品中使用了具有宽广PTK特异性的肽 [poly (Glu-Tyr)] 作为底物，可对各种PTK活性进行检测。
