该抗体能够检测内源性的全长的caspase-6 (35 kDa)和其在193位天门冬氨酸处裂解产生的小亚基 (15 kDa）。该抗体不能识别其它caspases。该多克隆抗体采用合成的caspase-6裂解位点的氨基酸序列相应的肽段免疫动物后制备获得。抗体通过蛋白A和肽段亲和层析而纯化。Caspase-6 Antibody recognizes endogenous levels of both full length caspase-6 (35 kDa) and the small subunit of caspase-6 resulting from cleavage at aspartic acid 193 (15 kDa). This antibody does not recognize other caspases.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding the cleavage site of caspase-6. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
