This antibody does not detect S6 ribosomal protein phosphorylated at other sites.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser240 and Ser244 of human S6 ribosomal protein. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
