The antibody may cross-react with activated EGF receptor protein.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Tyr239/240 of human Shc. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
