产品介绍

DAPI是一种与DNA结合强烈的荧光染色剂。它广泛用于荧光显微镜。由于DAPI通过完整的细胞膜,它可用于除固定细胞外的活细胞染色。对于荧光显微镜,DAPI被紫外线激发。当与双链DNA结合时,其最大吸收在358nm,其发射最大值在461nm。DAPI的一个缺点是其排放相当广泛。DAPI也与RNA结合,但是它不像它与DNA结合时那样强烈地发荧光。 当与RNA结合时,其发射偏移至约500nm .DAPI的蓝色发射便于多重测定,因为DAPI与荧光素和绿色荧光蛋白(GFP)等绿色荧光分子或红色荧光染料之间的荧光重叠非常少。除了标记细胞核外,DAPI还用于检测细胞培养物中的支原体或病毒DNA。
